Definition

HYROX® weight standards are the official loads, distances, and rep counts prescribed for each of the eight workout stations across every division. They vary by division (Open, Pro, Elite 15) and gender. This is the definitive reference chart for every station weight in HYROX®.

How It Works

Every HYROX® race follows the same format: 8 × 1 km runs alternated with 8 workout stations. The stations are identical across all divisions, but the weights, reps, and distances change as you move from Open to Pro to Elite 15. Doubles and Relay teams use the same station weights as their corresponding singles division.

Key Differences Between Divisions

  • Open to Pro: Every weighted station increases. Sled push adds 50 kg (men) or 50 kg (women). Wall balls increase ball weight (men: 6→9 kg, women: 4→6 kg). Women Open is the only division with 75 reps - all others do 100.
  • Pro to Elite 15: Station weights are identical. The distinction is qualifying time - Elite 15 athletes must meet a time cutoff to enter.
  • Bodyweight stations (SkiErg, rowing, burpee broad jumps) stay the same across all divisions.

Why It Matters

Knowing your exact weights before race day eliminates surprises and lets you structure training around the right loads. Athletes moving from Open to Pro should gradually introduce the heavier standards into training 8-12 weeks out. See individual weight guides for each station: sled push, sled pull, farmers carry, lunge, and wall ball.

FAQ

Are the weights the same for Pro and Elite 15? Yes. Pro and Elite 15 share identical station weights. Elite 15 is differentiated by a qualifying time requirement, not heavier loads.

Do Doubles teams use lighter weights? No. Doubles partners use the same station weights as singles athletes in their division. The difference is that partners alternate who completes each station.

Which stations have no weight difference between divisions? SkiErg (1,000 m), rowing (1,000 m), and burpee broad jumps (80 m) are identical across Open, Pro, and Elite 15.
