The complete weight standards for women across all HYROX divisions: Open, Pro, and Elite 15, covering all eight station weights and distances.

Definition

HYROX® weights for women encompass all station loads, distances, and rep counts that female athletes face across Open, Pro, and Elite 15 divisions. This comprehensive guide consolidates every number you need to train and race as a female HYROX® athlete.

How It Works

Female HYROX® athletes complete 8 × 1 km runs alternating with 8 workout stations. Four stations involve external weight (sled push, sled pull, farmers carry, sandbag lunges), one involves a weighted implement (wall balls), and three are bodyweight-based (SkiErg, rowing, burpee broad jumps). All weighted stations scale upward from Open to Pro.

Women's Weight Standards - Quick Reference

Station Open Pro / Elite 15
Sled Push 102 kg / 50 m 152 kg / 50 m
Sled Pull 78 kg / 50 m 103 kg / 50 m
Farmers Carry 2 × 16 kg / 200 m 2 × 24 kg / 200 m
Sandbag Lunges 10 kg / 100 m 20 kg / 100 m
Wall Balls 4 kg / 75 reps / 2.7 m 6 kg / 100 reps / 2.7 m
SkiErg 1,000 m 1,000 m
Rowing 1,000 m 1,000 m
Burpee Broad Jumps 80 m 80 m

Pro and Elite 15 share identical weights. The only difference is that Elite 15 requires a qualifying time.

Station-by-Station Breakdown

Sled Push (Station 2): The heaviest load women handle. Open athletes push 102 kg, while Pro/Elite push 152 kg - a 49% increase. Focus on leg drive and short, powerful steps. See the full sled push weight guide.

Sled Pull (Station 3): Women pull 78 kg (Open) or 103 kg (Pro/Elite) over 50 m using a rope. Grip strength is the limiting factor for most female athletes at this station.

Farmers Carry (Station 6): Two kettlebells carried for 200 m. The jump from 2 × 16 kg to 2 × 24 kg adds 16 kg total, significantly taxing grip and shoulders.

Sandbag Lunges (Station 8): The load doubles from 10 kg to 20 kg between Open and Pro, fundamentally changing the biomechanics of each lunge step.

Wall Balls (Station 4): Ball weight increases from 4 kg to 6 kg and reps jump from 75 to 100, but the 2.7 m target height remains constant across all women's divisions.

Why It Matters

Understanding the exact weight progression helps female athletes plan their division move-up timeline. The cumulative increase from Open to Pro is substantial - roughly 40-50% more total work across weighted stations. Athletes who build up gradually over a 12-week training block avoid injury and arrive at race day confident with every load.

FAQ

What is the total weight increase from Open to Pro for women? The combined increase across weighted stations is significant: +50 kg on sled push, +25 kg on sled pull, +16 kg on farmers carry, +10 kg on lunges, and +2 kg on wall balls with 25 extra reps.

Do women throw to a higher wall ball target in Pro? No. Women use a 2.7 m target in all divisions. Only men's target increases to 3.0 m in Pro and Elite 15.

Are Doubles weights different for women? No. Women in Doubles use the same station weights as their singles division. Partners alternate stations but weights are unchanged.
